New Year’s Eve in Milan Family

Less than Christmas but certainly more than Easter, if only for the famous saying “Christmas with your, Easter with whomever you want”, the New Year’s evening lends itself to set up a nice family reunion and to spend the last day of the year old and welcome the new one by exchanging affectionate good wishes with loved ones.
In many families it is customary ten years to gather around a table to refresh with a nice dinner based on all those delicious dishes that hardly, for their heaviness, eat during other days of the year (cotechino, zampone, stuffed panettoni, nougat, hazelnuts, etc.).
And the better if the dinner leads straight to midnight, when the whole family will be ready to raise the glass to toast and greet with a good sparkling wine or a good champagne the year that comes.
